Karol is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 15 years’ experience delivering flood and water management projects across the UK and Ireland.

He has delivered a number of innovative and award-winning public realm projects, including Newcastle sea defence scheme, Northern Ireland. Karol is a Member of the Supervising Panel of Engineers under the Reservoirs Act 1975, and has worked on a number of dam structures throughout Northern Ireland.

 

Karol is currently delivering the South Campshires flood protection scheme along the River Liffey in the centre of Dublin, Ireland – one of the longest flood defence schemes to be constructed in the city, it is seamlessly integrating flood risk management solutions within the public realm.

South Campshires flood protection scheme

The South Campshires flood protection scheme seamlessly integrates flood risk management solutions within the public realm, enabling the local community to continue to enjoy use of the riverside location. Spanning 1km of the River Liffey, Dublin, Ireland, it is one of the longest flood defence schemes constructed in the city’s historic centre, protecting 3,000 homes and 400 businesses from flooding.
