Fay Bull

Regional Director, AECOM
Presentation title: How to build a collaborative team in 8 weeks and succeed

Fay Bull is a Regional Director at AECOM. She manages a diverse team of scientists and engineers providing water consultancy services to the private and public sector. She is a Lead Supplier in the Environment Agency’s Midlands Programme Delivery Unit.

Fay enjoys working in partnership to deliver flood risk management solutions for communities. She has a particular interest in urban flood risk and the technical, economic and societal opportunities and challenges that these environments present.

Fay is a Chartered Scientist and Vice Chair of CIWEM’s Rivers & Coastal Group Committee.

She is passionate about improving diversity in the sector.

Graham Knott

Regional Director, AECOM
Presentation title: Total Catchment Management – is this the future? An international perspective

 Graham is a Regional Director at AECOM leading water management projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East with over 40 years’ experience working in the water sector.

Graham is responsible for the technical oversight of urgent works packages and the major storm water masterplan for the Jeddah Stormwater Drainage Programme, Saudi Arabia.  He is currently Capita AECOM’s technical lead for the York Flood Management Plan under the Environment Agency’s Water Environment Management (WEM) framework.

Graham leads delivery of AECOM’s Water Resource Academy training course, which has delivered 15 training modules to staff across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.

Alan Forster

Principal Coastal Specialist, AECOM
Presentation title: Managing legacy infrastructure into the future: the River Winster and Meathop Drain flood risk

Alan is a Principal Coastal Specialist with AECOM and has undertaken a wide range of coastal process and morphology studies for sites globally including the UK, Middle East and Australia.

He provides expert advice to coastal and port engineers to aid the design and construction of developments in the coastal zone.  Alan is an experienced numerical modeller using the models to provide further insight into coastal processes operating within an area.

He has also undertaken several studies to evaluate the flood and coastal erosion risk for different sites typically involving the application of flood inundation models to investigate complex coastal flooding scenarios in more detail.
