John DelacioAssociate, AECOM Capital

John DeLacio is an Associate at AECOM Capital with six years of experience across investment banking and energy engineering. Prior to joining AVAIO, he was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in their Investment Banking Division. Over approximately five years in both the Mergers & Acquisitions and Debt Capital Markets groups, John advised clients on strategic alternatives, prepared valuation assessments, and led debt underwritings. In aggregate, John advised on over $80 billion of debt underwriting and merger advisory, including the $10 billion debt financing to fund Berkshire Hathaway’s acquisition of Precision Castparts.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, John worked at CJL Engineering, an energy consulting and engineering firm focused on commercial building and data center projects. Within CJL’s Energy Solutions Group and as a LEED Accredited Professional, John consulted developers and owners on the implementation of cogen gas systems, energy efficiency solutions, and energy-use audits, among others.

John graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a double major in Economics. He holds the FINRA Series 63 and 79 Licenses as well as the Professional Engineer prerequisite EIT License.
