GSA BMO website: www.gsa.gov/bmo

AECOM is a contract holder for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Phase II Unrestricted Building Maintenance and Operations (BMO) Best-in-Class strategic sourcing solution. This multiple award solution gives government agencies a more streamlined way of acquiring facility maintenance and operations services, including electrical maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, fire alarm and suppression system maintenance, commissioning, and more.

“GSA’s BMO awards provide federal agencies with a fast, flexible and reliable way to obtain best value solutions for their facility maintenance requirements, while also cutting administrative costs and reducing duplicative contracts,” said GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service Heartland Region Commissioner and Facilities and Construction Government-wide Category Manager Mary Ruwwe. “All the BMO contracts are designated Best-in-Class solutions and are recognized as ‘good-for-government’ purchasing solutions that will help save valuable taxpayer dollars and should be used by all agencies.”

Best-in-Class is a contracting and acquisition designation used across government to denote contracts that meet rigorous category management criteria as defined by Office of Management and Budget guidance. All Best-in-Class solutions:

  • Are designated Best-in-Class by a cross-agency team of experts
  • Have category management practices in place
  • Are well-managed and transparent
  • Collect, analyze and share transactional data
  • Have tools to share info and reduce duplication
  • Define, track and publicize metrics

  • Zone 3 – Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina
