AECOM’s environmental professionals participate at the annual Railroad Environmental Conference (RREC) Conference in Champaign-Urbana, IL October 28-29, 2026, and the 2nd Annual Sustainability and Resiliency Day October 27, 2026.
AECOM is a long-standing sponsor of and participant at the RREC, in support of the North American Railroad Industry. AECOM scientists and engineers will lead technical sessions and present on environmental compliance, assessment, remediation, storm water, wastewater, and sustainability topics affecting the rail industry.
RREC, which is hosted by the University of Illinois Rail Transportation and Engineering Center (RailTEC) is celebrating its 28th year. RREC provides a forum to share new environmental techniques/technologies among over 500 railroaders, engineers, scientists, regulators, industry attorneys and academics.
