I began my adult life straight out of high school by joining the U.S. Marines. I served 10 years of honorable service with the Marines and was deployed on three tours of combat — two to Iraq and the third to Afghanistan. While in the military, I met and married my wife, and she has given me three beautiful daughters. I’m a full-time student and recently became a home owner.

I previously served as an intern with AECOM from December 2015 to August 2016. During that time, I completed two 400-hour internships and half of a third one when I requested an early ending so I could return to school. AECOM was more than willing to accommodate me and allow for this transition.

I’m proud to return to AECOM as part of the accounting team within the BuildLACCD program on a 10-week, 200-hour internship. I’m excited to once again work with familiar colleagues in a productive environment where I will be able to develop new skills.
