AECOM employees around the world enjoy a wide array of benefits that mesh with country-specific customs and practices.
The benefits highlighted here are examples and will vary from country to country.
In most countries, employees can select from a variety of health, life and disability plans to create a customized package of coverage to suit personal circumstances. Generally, coverage begins on the date of hire.
In many locations, AECOM provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Available to employees and their families at no cost, the EAP provides personal counseling and referral services related to parenting, college planning, elder care, and other life issues.
AECOM stock is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol "ACM." AECOM offers employees in many countries the opportunity to become shareholders through AECOM's global stock program, which includes a variety of plans that are customized by country, taking into account differences in securities regulations, tax requirements, retirement regulations and other factors.
On most stock purchases, AECOM provides a company match.
AECOM offers savings and retirement programs to eligible employees in many areas, in accord with country-specific plans and practices. In many locations, these plans allow employees to direct a portion of their earnings on a tax-deferred basis into retirement savings accounts, giving them the flexibility to manage and control personal finances and build a successful plan for retirement.
AECOM appreciates the importance of employees maintaining a healthy and family friendly work-life balance and provides paid holidays and time off or vacation in accord with customs in the global locations where we operate.
AECOM offers a merit-based scholarship program for employees' children who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. The scholarships are renewable for up to four years for students who remain in good standing.
Specific employees are covered by our personal accident insurance when working abroad.
A number of additional policies and procedures exist within AECOM's regions that may include enhanced maternity leave as well as paternity leave and adoption leave. We also promote employee sports and social clubs in many of our geographies.
